In order to achieve the most accurate information, our teams perform field collection. This is how we ensure that your privacy is protected during our field collection processes.
What data does AIIM collect?
We are planning to collect road data by vehicles on European streets. The street-level images and other measuring data are used to create navigation-related products and services.
How does AIIM collect data?
Data are collected using various sensors such as Lidar, camera and GNSS which are equipped on our collecting cars.
What kind of personal information does AIIM collect?
During the collecting process, our collecting equipment such as the camera might collect some personal data such as faces or license plates.
How long does AIIM store and process collected data?
The street level images and other measuring raw data we collected by our collecting cars will be first stored onboard. The raw data is in a compressed format, which is good for storage and not readable. To use the data, raw data must be decompressed and converted to readable format first. Shortly after the process, all personal identification information (e.g. faces and license plates) will be blurred by our algorithms automatically. No personal identification information will be used by us in producing our products and services. All data that is shared with third parties will be shared only after the anonymization process has been fully completed.
How long does AIIM retain personal information?
As we mentioned above, once the collected street level images start being processed, all personal data will be removed. No personal data will be stored and processed in the following procedure.
How does AIIM ensure data security?
We take appropriate organizational and technical security measures to prevent unauthorized use, loss, or alteration of personal identifying information. The company also set up a comprehensive regulation to strictly control the access to the collected raw data.
Is AIIM compliant with GDPR?
We have implemented the required policies, processes, and procedures to comply with the GDPR. As a controller and processor of personal data, we ensure a high level of protection and security regarding the personal data that is entrusted to us.

Will AIIM share your data with other parties?
The data and information we provide to our partners and customers for commercial purposes have already removed your personally-identifying information.
